Author’s Guideline

Please endeavor to prepare your manuscript according to the author’s guidelines.  Only manuscript that has not been previously published or submitted to other journal for review and publication is considered. The text is a single line spaced, uses a 11 point font Book Antiqua, and  manuscript must be prepared in English using MS Word format. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to plagiarism check, after which, a manuscript reference code number (RCN) will be issued in an e-mail acknowledgement. Authors should make reference to RCN in all subsequent correspondence with NIJESR Editor in Chief.

All authors’ names, affiliations, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers should be listed just below the title of submitted article. The length of original research article, short communication, and review article should not exceed 5-12 manuscript pages to include figures, tables and references. No abbreviations on acronyms are allowed in the titles or Abstract acronyms except for measurements. There shall not be decorative borders anywhere in the text including the title page, and the authors should strictly follow the journal template which can be download from the journal website.

Key words (maximum 6 and minimum 4)

Author’s initial names should be abbreviated with full stop in between if more than one initial. Comma (,) should be used to separate names of two or more authors. Names of the journals should be written in full and put in italics. Citation should follow the format which contains author-date references in the text of the manuscript, such as (Erameh, 2017). References should be cited using author’s surname, e.g., Iseru, 2018, Omoyibo and Emifomiye, 2018. When more than two authors, the Latin phrase et al., an abbreviation meaning “and others should be use, e.g., Olorunleke et al., (2014) for Olorunleke, A., Adingwupu, A.C., Erameh, A.A. (2014). Reference should be very relevant and recent related research work should be cited and properly reference. Reference should be listed at the end of the text as surnames followed by initials throughout; the use of “and” should be avoided. Authors should adhere to the following examples:
