The Chief of Army Staff, Nigerian Army, Lt. General Tukur Yusufu Buratai has been appointed by the Governing Council of Igbinedion University Okada as a Professor-at-Large in the Department of International Relations and Strategic Studies.
The conferment took place during the Launch and the Maiden Lecture of the Buratai Centre for Contemporary Security Affairs at Igbinedion University Okada which was delivered by the Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai.
Conferring the award of Professorship on the Chief of Army Staff, after the very robust and insightful lecture, the Chairman Governing Council/Pro-Chancellor of Igbinedion University Okada Prof. Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye Commended the Chief of Army Staff for the quality of the Lecture he delivered in terms of content, cross references and presentation.
He described the lecture material as fit and proper for academic publication and also assured that it will serve as reference material for the Centre.
